Thousands inherit HIV at birth. From the poorest caste, at the age of 6 or 7 they watch their parents die from the virus. They appear in no registry and the rest of their families reject them… are invisible.
Alone, hungry and afraid, they wander the city until the virus destroys their immune system and they fall ill on the roadside.
Over the years there will be more than 2,000 girls taken in through the program. For all of them we build a Home and a Future.
